Has anyone been sad enough to catch some game shows recently? I gotta say I have, and I can't believe how thick people are becoming

And we're talkin about quizzes with multiple choice answers...The Fookin answers in front of em ffs

"Who painted matchstick men"

"Who is the teddy named after"

"What programme popular in the 60's starred Patrick McCoughan where he was a number"

Where is their cultural reference?!

The internet can answer any question within seconds

Gone are the days where you sat there trying to remember something you'd forgotten, and/or woke up at 3 in the morning with the answer... Lol

So why is everyone getting dumber when the answer is a click away?

Simple

They don't ask any questions

Now you're just being silly I'm talking stuff that should be general knowledge... Stuff that is out there if you look... The point i'm making, and it rather makes my point that i'm having to explain it, is that we as a nation are becoming more and more dense despite the fact that all knowledge is just a click away

Yes I think its a great shame that nobody has good general knowledge but worse than that you can google something and learn it but people don't do that they have forgotten it two minutes later! I watched a couple of quizz shows late afternoon Pointless and eggheads and I am fairly good. I dont race around like I used to I do start at 5AM but then do my 1 hour delivery every lunchtime but I have normally had enough by 3 So I then train my brain.

Inquisitive.. That's the word i was looking for

My favourite response is when asked something like 'Which popular Liverpool band had a hit with Love Me Do in 1962?' the contestant says 'Oh, that's a bit before my time'

Well yes, it's about 16 years before I was even born but I still know the answer!
