I just had the same problem , Urgent job and called AT LEAST 20 couriers in the directory.

this end and in Birmingham.

Most profiles were out dated and the others just go to answerphone.

I am now bald through pulling my hair out.

Hi Logic.
I saw you were empty but this job was a big van and i had to eventually sub it to another co who for some reason sent a small van, I then tried to get authorisation to send 2 more small vans in at my cost to get the job covered but the sender said no as they were worried about damage.
Obviously we wouldn't have damaged them but it's their call at the end of the day.
It's now been re scheduled with a big van for tomorrow.

new in the game of couriering so any advice will be taken on board have a 07 berlingo which i have owned from new in my valeting buisness only done 30,000 miles in excellent condition have sat nav and smart phone hi viz and boots been doing a few aog's to heathrow!

It just winds me up as i do want to utilise the system of NETWORKING but there needs to be a cull of dead wood.

I think that when a new member signs up then a system should be in place to restrict practically everything until a basic information is completed such as vehicles , insurances.
If a member doesn't log in or access their account for say 3 or 6 months an email should be sent to them asking them to re verify that they are working couriers. If there is no response from that member then automatic deletion should occur.

Just  a thought

Maybe then this site may become NOT EMPTY VAN but Loaded van.
