Hello from Brussels!

Our main activity is a sameday service from Belgium to Holland and back, involving two small vans. I take care of 24/7 work throughout Europe in a LWB VW Transporter myself.

Most of our clients are in the media/television/broadcasting business, meaning that more trips across the Channel than usual are expected this Summer, "for Olympic reasons"...

I would like to grab this opportunity to start doing more regular work to and from the UK. Even if you should not want me on "your" side too often, I could help out in other ways: meet in Folkestone to relieve you of that job to wherever in Europe, or pick up that shipment on the Continent for you to carry it further on "your side".

Sad to hear so many of you out here complaining about the slow season. Hope it picks up soon.

And then when it starts getting really busy, and those jobs to and from the Continent keep coming in, you'll wonder how you are going to cope with that workload.

Now thàt is the point where you could call on this boy from Belgium to help you out, either by taking over your shipment to France, Belgium, Holland, Germany... , or by picking up stuff on the Continent for you to take over in Calais or Folkestone.

Silly idea? Not really: I have had jobs before where UK collegues were just too busy in Britain to be able to spend a whole day or more over on "our" side...

Good to see our neighbours have a sense of humor.

We did do a run to a fashion show in florence last year.

Come to think of another job I had last year.

A UK-collegue had a number of small shipments to 3 or 4 places in France, 1 in Spain and one in Holland. I took over the Holland leg of his "tour". Saved him a lot of time, mileage and money... He would have never been able to meet his deadline without my help.
