I work for a company called Fuelmate, I speak to a lot of courier companies and owner drivers supplying quite a few with fuel cards. I am looking forward to reading some of the post on here and learning more about your industry.

Have you read the terms and conditions of joining mtvan?

No why?

Because mtvan is for courier/transport companies only, its not for companies trying to sell there services, fuel card, van sales, insurance, workwear etc, read the terms and conditions.

I didnt actually join to sell my services I wanted to learn a bit more about your industry and how it works for mine and other peoples benefit. I thought on the way if I could help one or two people save some money then great I wasnt actively trying to sell to anyone. However if its going to offend people then I will gladly avoid using the site and go elsewhere to find out more about your industry.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, my mistake I thought this site would be a good way of learning about the industry from people who do the job if this is what people in the industry are like I wont bother.

Well trying to sell us fuel cards on your first welcome post is not the right way to go about it!

I wasn't trying to sell fuel cards I just mentioned the offer was there if anyone needed any help. Thanks for pointing that out though as it has obviously been taken the wrong way.

Admin how can you let a sales company on this site did you not check what type of company they were surely they should be removed, or is it easy money for you

Thats fine I give up, I have explained already in this thread that I joined to learn about the industry and not to sell fuel cards. I simply offered my help if anyone needed it. It was a friendly gesture not a sales pitch. Admin if you want to remove me thats fine, I am not interested in using a site where someone who genuinely wanted to use the site to learn about the industry is treat like this.

I have to say that to be put off a website by the comments of just 3 members suggests to me that sales isn't really your thing. You need a thick skin which clearly you haven't got. And lets be honest about it, your reason for joining was to utilise the list of couriers and courier companies on here for your financail benefit, so lets not hide behind the " i wanted to find out about your industry" bollox
