That's Stuart Hall on the list officially. Ken Barlow and Rolf Harris possibly in the line of fire.
Are all celebs deviants?

If there is compensation involved the probably George Formby , Norman wisdom and some of the older dead celebs!
This sort of nonsense has been going on for thousands of years and will go on for another thousand, there is only one type of punishment, give them £10,000 tell them to buy a van, insure it and tell them to make a profit.

Sorry
Gotta be David Cameron. He's been shafting the low paid ever since he got into power.
I think the whole thing is getting out of hand
Its costing the tax payer a small fortune
I'd hardly call a light touch of a 15 year olds breast rape
Especially 46 years ago

No, it's not called rape but, regardless of when it happened, it is still sexual assault.
Sexual assault is any involuntary sexual act in which a person is threatened, coerced, or forced to engage against their will, or any sexual touching of a person who has not consented. This includes rape (such as forced vaginal, anal or oral penetration), inappropriate touching, forced kissing, child sexual abuse, or the torture of the victim in a sexual manner.

It was ok, it's a long time ago
Whether it did happen or not it appears some celebrities have to endure trial by public, a rape (because that's what it is being described as) must be nearly impossible to prove beyond reasonable doubt 46 years after the event.
I'm am in no way writing off the damage caused to victims of such crimes but 46 years??
Its not like he couldn't be recognized he's been on the telly 3 times a week for the last 30 years

Victims remain silent because they fear being subjected to the intense scrutiny and blame that often follow. Our culture continues to condemn the victim for rape/sexual assault and, as a result, an extraordinary amount of shame and silence follow the crime. This deters victims from coming forward.
Very Good, I still don't see how you will prove a 46 year old rape, the law protects the accuser but its ok for the accused to be splashed across the dailys.

Because anonymity of the accused hampers investigations and prevents public appeals for victims of serial sexual abusers to come forward.
No one has suggested the allegations against Bill Roache are any thing like the ones against other people, however most of the blame with the lack of pursuit of previous abuse claims lays at the feet of the Police, because they were reported and it was the Police who did nothing about them, this is nothing short of a knee jerk reaction by the police to limit criticisms of past mistakes
There was no reason to release his name at this time and it will undoubtedly tarnish his name for the rest of his life.
Is Coronation Street soon to have an all female cast, there soon be no males allowed to appear.
