mine's due this month as well had a quote yesterday for van, git, public liability, employers insurance, £2,531. when i got up off the floor I LOL at him & put the phone down he then had the cheek to ring me back to say that had hung up on him & was i interested in the quote so i just no & put the phone down, my insurance last year was £1,655 for all above just now waiting for the company i used last year to contact me with the renewal quote
Ive been with Cornish for many years now after being refered by another courier company.. Ours insurance didnt go up this year. We have vehicle insurance, G.I.T. Public Liability on all vehicles and green card cover with them on some vehicles.
Im sure there number is available on line somewhere
Have you tried the guys (there's a few) we have listed on rotation on the news feed? They're meant to be pretty competitive.
Just renewed mine, somewhere round the £2400 mark last year, £1376 for the lot this year. Made up with that I am :)
What sort of NCD are you claiming if you dont mind me asking
9 years I had with my car
Does anyone knows a good insurance company for young people? I started this year, and due to my age (23) with a non-transferable no claims, I'm paying £3,000 for basic H&R (not including GIT or pub liability).
It hurts!
I was also quoted £7k by one company. The company I'm with (Moorhouse) initially offered my £3,600 but I haggled.
I'd recommend haggling. I've saved myself and other family members over a grand in the last few months, just by haggling with various insurance companies.
Btw, although Moorhouse is charging me a lot, they were the cheapest I found and have always been very good on the phone, so I'd recommend them.
£3k bloody hell, ours is around £1800 per vehicle with any driver over the age of 17, but must have 2yrs driving under there belt work that one out at 17yrs old lol :-S
Thanks SMH. Which company do you use? I have 5 years no claims on a car, but they told me I couldn't use it on my H&R policy.
towgate fleet policy
