Looking to build a network of good drivers in the region who I can trust to cover work when I'm busy or in the wrong county (as my time is currently divided between Great Yarmouth, Cambridge and Scotland). Exchange sites are well and good, but I'd prefer to use people I've built a relationship with, whenever possible.

Particularly keen to network with small van owners in the Cambridge and Norwich areas.

The last few days have been very quiet so I've spent them doing some marketing. It seems to be going ok so far (think I'm getting better at it) so fingers crossed for a few new clients ringing up over the next month or so...

If Hertfordshire counts as East Anglia then I may be able to help out when I'm not busy elsewhere

Hi Theo

A very good way of attracting O/Ds is to post some of the work on mtvan, obviously, as they get alerted.

(I appreciate you may want to build a network before you have a job that needs covering).

Also, when you do find good people, make sure you Trust them on mtvan, as that tells mtvan you definitely do want them to be alerted when there is a job to post.
