Its all very well the price of fuel coming down but has anyone noticed that the price of Hot Pies has risen 10 times more than the cost of inflation.
In one hand and out the other... It seems we drivers get bashed from all sides

Same with Kit Kats, you can't get one for under 1.00 at motorway services. One question, why has the price of diesel crept back up a few pence when oil is at it's lowest price for 6 years? So the so called experts claim!
As long as we don't get bashed from behind. Price of fuel will always affect us, but what will we do about as a nation of moaners. We don't have the balls or commitment to demonstrate like they do abroad, at least truckers do try (a little). Work is generally shite jan-Mar so no great loss of earnings why cant we use the time constructively, look out new Government we are commin for ya. (NOT). Its the same with price of Cocoa price shoots up, size drops like an old mans flaccid bit, when cocoa drops with the size increase? FFS take that soapbox off me.

I know this one
Fuel is brought through OPEC on an auction basis many months in advance. The sale price today therefore has nothing to do with what you pay at the pump as you need to look at the price per barrel 6 months ago to know what its likely to be. Problem Huston The idea therefore is in 6 months time the fuel price will plummet and we can all charge 10pplm ( a step up for city sprint fellas ) butttt this assumes there isnt the usual marketing and being competitive pricing which means the price you pay will not go down even if the oils at a record low , it requires petrol stations to reduce price inline but given the vest majority of petrol stations are owned by franchises and as such the prices are a reflection not of competitiveness but on what profits the franchisee thinks they can make then its not always the case the price will be reduced... Phew Best bet IMO is fuel cards ( hassle and not always cheap ) or simply shop around, sites such as this mean if you fill up at the end of the days work before getting home you can save a few quid a week

Oh yeah? Have you seen the amount of diesel a sheep drinks?
There's not much call for sheep farmers in Salford.
But this post is NOT about fuel... Im worried about the increases in the cost of meat pies!
Who eat all the pies
Sheep. Meat pies and diesel. They've cornered the market.
It is obvious that all this things are controlled by OPEC.
OPEC = Oil, Pies Even Confectionary
