Piece of rope works fine for me! (2 tonne breaking strain before anyone says anything! )

Pallet Puller. offers a safer option. secured to the forklift. central stump connection. 1 ton pulling power. ( has to be regulated as a product )
be great in my an I could pull it all the way to the end, at least 3 inches! Total waste of time on a large van unless you can pull a 1 tonne pallet with no wheels! take the wheels off a car and try and pull it and see how far you get!

Pallet puller offers three different length straps

I have a question... How much are you being paid by 'Pallet Puller'?
So does miss whiplash but she ain't getting any money either!

I created the product because as a courier i saw the need.
Great idea, but If loaded correctly and ya got your wits about you you wouldnt need one anyway..
I'm glad its not called "pull me off"
Antonys Van
Thanks... if you have a single pallet you are best pushing it to the bulkhead,

Then I would suggest you make it clearer when you comment...

I searched 'Pallet Puller' as you suggested that it 'offers a safer option'.
Top of the list was indeed 'Pallet Puller' at http://www.palletpuller.co.uk/
Your wording lead me to believe you were suggesting it was a safer option than the www.safepul.com
And with this in mind.....

...................you would indeed be better off with the other one.

Not a bad idea... different product ?

So how would you push a pallet to the bulk head using your product?
Seems to me that this would still have to be achieved by the pallet truck getting it's forks under the pallet and pushing it back, which kind of defeats the purpose of using your product to avoid the pallet truck being too close.
Kind of only does half the job!
Scott.
Get to 30mph stamp on brakes and the pallet will find it's own way to bulkhead!

Safepul was created for the pallets out of reach... in my experience one ( tall ) pallet in the middle of the floor create problems when breaking..
Scott Reid
Your product is only good for unloading a pallet. It can't pull a pallet up to the bulk head!
So it doesn't solve the "pallet in the middle problem".

That's where the link from my post above comes in, you need to watch the video unfortunately but the links appear to be safe ^^^

Not sure if everyone does this but, if i have a single pallet i load through the side door against the bulk head.. thats easy to reach, but with multiple pallets the problem comes in...
Scott Reid
Thanks SG, but there's no need to see the video. It's obvious that a hook on a solid pole "can" push a pallet, but that the safepul "can't".
Scott.
Note to self, sub pallet work out.. lol

Not sure why multiple pallets create a problem. Surely the flt driver just pushes the first pallet back as he is loading the second.
Either way, the pallet puller assists in loading and unloading. Your safepul only assists in unloading.

My apologies, I'll re-phrase that.... I'd recommend that you watch the video to truly appreciate how the 'Pallet Puller' functions. I wouldn't necessarily say that it's 'obvious' that a hook on a pole can push a pallet, particularly when the said pole is not pictured.
I'd agree with Scott as far as multiple pallets goes, load 'em and shove 'em, but if you wanted the pallet at the front to allow non-palleted boxes etc then the solid pole 'Pallet Puller' is more the tool for the job I'm afraid

Forgive me but how does it push the pallet without gripping a stump ? and pushing a pallet with a single stump is a bit touch and go isn't it ?

Can't be any better or worse than pulling a pallet with a single stump can it?
Antonys Van
Central stump.. Weight distribution... front stump not so good but still works..
If you have the video for the pallet puller that pushes id love to see it.. really. its healthy knowledge..

Click the link to their site and then the link to the video, it downloads a .wmv file ^^^
In my humble opinion, their design would benefit from some refinement. It does look a bit dodgy, I reckon it could easily slip at the forklift end, when pushing the way they do in the video. I'd also suggest other attachments for both the pushing and pulling operations.
