We are all struggling for work at the moment! You have to be in the right place at the right time, try calling the local companies they may have some suitable work. I would think that a change of vehicle may help?

I agree with Daves comment about the vehicle, that could help.
Here's a list of 10 things that might be able to help you find work. Worth noting that you must be proactive though, work will never just flow to you without effort on your part. Also, good written and spoken English is very important and often overlooked. Maybe it's too un-PC for some people to talk about or something.
