That's a competitive rate, I certainly would have no problem if you bid on any of our jobs.
If it was me i would be bidding at least £1.00 per loaded mile for that sized van. When bidding for work you need to consider that other drivers are bidding also, it all depends on location, availability, your quote and how quick you respond to the alert. I've bid on many jobs on here and missed out on many aswell. A lot of vendor on exchange site use the trusted couriers they have used in the past and phone them direct. I have a few regulars on here that phone me direct now and they are happy with the service i give them. I'm always looking for more as we all are. Keep bidding and someone will give you the chance at some point. Hope this helps.

Bet. You wouldn't it's not competitive is suicidal on a lwb unless getting 600+ mile trips.
Cheep rates doesnt guarantee work. There's not much lwb work in our area anyway.
Where else have you looked for work
Then again there are 2 types of Courier Companies, Your Aldi/Lidl on the one side, and your M&S/Waitrose on the other... Who do you want to work for? I really like how you paint the picture:))
Thanks for the replies, I have bid on jobs within a 100mile radius which I know is 100 dead miles but I am trying to get a star rating i have looked to join Courier Exchange but is a big up front cost and unsure how likely work is. I am also a member on auction sites and have also tried local businesses.
Whats your business plan? As stated above, the rate your offering is low..
And this is a 24/7/365 job. Not only driving and delivering goods, also looking for a regular routes, keeping paper work up to date and lots more... So have to work hard. Good luck!
100 dead!!!!!!! miles in a lwb sorry but dd you look at what type of work was available im your area before starting.
It does seem a bit extreme to get some work, especially if you're also on low rates too.
I'm scratching my head with this one.
Your area isn't that bereft of work so something is definitely wrong somewhere
I'm in an area very close lwb work does seem quiet it's mainly small van work
