I am looking at getting a van in the near future & looking at either a Transit Custom or a Transit Connect (newer style). I was wondering if there are any other owner drivers out there that I can get some real stats from? By real stats I mean real MPG rather than the claimed hype of 60 MPG combined for the Connect & 45MPG for the Custom! Also looking for typical service rates etc.
Anything you can give me would be great. I have done this work before & got on really well with it until I fell out with a business partner! & please don't question my sanity but I miss being on the road!! I am based in West Sussex & well placed for a lot of local suppliers, so not asking what I should charge etc just looking for real costings! Looking forward to hearing from you.
