I think it might depend on the mileage limits they set.

You think, Springer will that do you?

Dave. I'm in the same boat. Just looking round now as my berlingo is rapidly approaching 500,000 miles and I don't think it will last much longer. Have you tried Northgate? They don't have mileage restrictions and are quite reasonable.

I am with Northgate at the moment and just whacked the price up over £100pm due to mileage
I'm with Northgate and I can't fault them to be honest. Unlimited mileage and no restriction taking it abroad either. I have the peugot partner and its a god van if im honest.

I did see some brand new berlingo and partners advertised, but it was before Christmas price £7295 (that is cheaper than I paid for a brand new berlingo in 2002) they where plus vat so mightmbe cheaper to get a loan, at least you can put what milleage you want on the vehicle without been penalised, anyone interested I will have a look for them.

That's somewhat of a killer.

500,000 my van has only 238,000! I was looking at 2.0 hdi despatch 6 speed box and its not quite as big as transit but does much better MPG, looking around 40-45 mpg, most of my work I can do in a car but it would give better potential for backloads etc with a bigger van, not enough large van work around to justfy a sprinter,
I think all Northgate vans are on 30k miles per year (they give you 10% on top of this) as the base price it will then go up from there and you will pay more.
I'm on the Northgate Norflex account. Open ended and base cost on your chosen likely mileage. Been on it 14 months and no rate increase YET. They don't charge you for excess mileage retrospectively which is good. Personally, I like it and can operate more reliably.
