Watchdog tonight BBC1 (Hermes)

Looks like another "Big" Company hitting watchdog tonight.. yes Hermes showing they are as good as UK mail as per Ch4 a while ago, customers goods being lost, stolen and damaged..

Good advertisement for us not so good for the big boys.

Oh well, as the old saying goes "you pay peanuts and get monkeys"..

Local monkey had 220 drops today (Thursday) - most of them were delivered intact!

My son bought a set brake discs for his race bike it took them 2 months to deliver them eventually they found them in Edinburgh even though they insisted they had been delivered

Set of clocks for a toyota celica, tried to deliver them 7 times over a 2 week period, in the end they tried to return them and they were lost in depot. Could have claimed but after 7 separate attempts i took pity on them.

Offered Saturday coverage work, tempted, must be bloody mad

220 drops in one day... Wow take me a week to do that.

I used to work for hermes before i started with the sameday stuff, and to be honest, i wouldn't even think twice about doing it again. The warehouse staff mainly was from employment agencies just throwing parcels & boxes into cages without a care in the world. I once was give a small glass display cabinet which has broken & was told to still deliver it. You should have seen the customers face when i turned up with. The amount of abuse i got from this customer was unreal but understandable. That was me done for them, never again and for 50p per parcel was robbery

I also used to do between 100-150 drops per day during peak times aswell deliver the next catologues

ive had that ( not hermes)

A glass cooker hood , broken and in the cage . I reject it and put its broken label on it , next day its back so another sticker , 3rd day im asked why it hasnt gone at which point i say its now 5,000 very small cooker hoods , did you break it ? was the response!! asswipe , so im told its the loading lads fault and they havnt picked up on the sticker but its on my manifest so take out , jebus , so off i went and didnt even take it off the van , knocked on the door then spent 5 minutes explaining there a bunch of self pleasurer`s and its broken and to get in touch with the supplier asap as it will be his fault and to take a picture and reject it on the scanner etc etc . Oddly he didnt order another or at least didnt use them again for the re-order

My record was 209 in a day , the area B77-78-79 so about 10 mile by 10 mile , 1 postcode this would have been an early finish doing 200 but the size of the area ment 5.30am out the door and home at easily gone 9pm , i did this for 3 1/2 years at 100 a day

I once did 3 drops in one day, would have been easy if they hadn't been 200 miles apart
