Hello Robert
Simple answer is you probably wont get any work ,Nobody in this industry oporates with cash . Most invoices are around 30 days to 60 days payment . If you can wear this than this is probably not the industry for you . I would also avoid letting too many people know you work for cash . The rest of us have to pay our taxes and charge vat so a cash courier has a big advantage over us If he is luck enough to find any work
Most companies won't deal in cash either as it has to be accounted for and everyone needs an invoice, Most now pay via bacs or debit/credit card or 30/60 day terms.
We do sometimes do cash jobs but this is quite rare.
I would have thought that the cash job industry is the shiply/anyvan stuff which isn't courier work.
It's people who have paid a low price for tat and want a low price to transport it, there is a dedicated vehicle for this called a dustbin lorry.
Hello Mr Nottingham hope all is well down there
I think and learning from some of you here and I maybe a bit nieve and stuck in the dark ages !!!
But since this internet thing it looks to me like the sites you mentioned where you put tat on are full of tax dodgers and scundrels !!!!
Does any work done on those sites actully get included in the numbers that are presented to the revenue . !!!

Tax Dodgers and scoundrels have been around far longer than the internet.
I agree with you on Fridays Rob !!!
At least they all down South most of the time thats one good thing
I believe that most.. (Not all).. of the Shiply/Anyvan type of transport people are uninsured for Courier road risk and also Goods in Transit.
Therefore as it is mostly cash i can't see them declaring it as it may Jepordise their job seekers claim.
I do know a company that does this type of work but haven't done a single one ourselves.
Doo Moves
Well I have done a few jobs off these sites, I am fully Insured and every job I do the customer gets issued with an Invoice, And its not all tat , I have moved a lot of Antiques , Pianos, Some expensive sofas , Pictures etc and at sensible prices, A lot of the time I have found People just dont know who to call and find these sites easier
I don't think he was refering to the goods being tat.....more the value of the pay to you the driver
Doo Moves
I agree with ya Speed And in an Ideal world I wouldn't either , we have had this discussion a few times know, lol Sorry if i got the wrong impression I read that it was all tat being moved on these sites my mistake,
