I obviously missed something exciting and I hate doing that. What happened?

Would you take a courier company called Carry On Couriers seriously? Mind you, the Carry On film that describes the current plight of most of us is Carry On Regardless! (and I have to own up to seeing that at the pictures when it was first released!)

Apparently on Friday we were mentioned by Carry On    ....................   .  Rob Wells texted me to let me know. Thank you  Rob.

Administrator removed part thread including the bit about us.  Thank you Richard.

However as a result of these actions we have no idea what was written about us and removed from the thread, because it was removed before we even knew it existed.

Can anyone let us know what was written about us.

1.  We haven't taken a job off of here for 4 years.

2.  You need not worry as we will never be bidding for any work.

3.  Currently we do not put any work on here because, as we have mentioned many times, the systems don't work.

4.  In terms of the reputation that we have created

If you are not a member of Courier Exchange get one of your associate contact companies who is a member to check out our feedback.  It is impressive.

5.  We do not know Carry On Dikkies Couriers or any other Dickky Couriers.  We have no idea who they are or how, supposedly, they would know the rates we pay our subbies. MTvan members do.  Ajax Couriers, Bluebox Couriers, C J B Services, City Express, Crownoak Logistcs, D J L Couriers, Frank Hall Sameday, Peter Cox and many more.  Ask them.   Apologies to the members mentioned if they did not want to be.

7.  Finally from the outset we choose not to court printers as  part of our customer base.  Unlike most courier companies I know we choose to aviod them.  They tend to want extended payment terms and also their loads are often problematic.  Ask anyone who has subbed for us if they have ever collected from a printer on our behalf.  I know the answer they will give.

So this is what its all about.

Firstly, i was a member here a fair few years ago before the Crash. When it was Tony, Tim, Richard. And Allen giving the work out and Rob (Speed) doing it at times. Ie the MNI and Amtrak stuff.

Now i can see why Tony (West Kingsdown Couriers) rang me out of the blue today after about 2 years ? He used to do some Subbie work for me when he first started. I thought it a bit random that he kept on saying "What a carry on". This answers why.  Did you not think to tell me why you had rung me if it was in relation to this ?

Anyway Liebllous is a little word with BIG implications.

Some people use a diary for every business event/ transaction. And some People write the date on the back of any business card given to them before it gets put into a roladex file............
