CRAP DAY !!!!!!!

A quiet day today and then to top it off a cheque from a customer gets returned and when i call them they say "we are in administration as of last friday."

Even though we did 4 more jobs for them last week.......

I think there's not much chance of getting paid though.

It's a real pain because we only updated the credit scoring system last week and they were shown as good payers and have an above average score.

The most annoying thing for me is that you know they knew they were goin into admin when they were booking your services. Why is this allowed to happen when mugging someone in the street is illegal?...Wots the difference?

I know, I called the company who we collected from last week as it is them who will be paying the company we did the job for but they aren't interested.

I am down around £900 so far and the drivers have all been paid.

The company is still listed on compamies website as active and on Barclays credit focus with a good credit rating and it recommends a credit limit of £15,000.

We had a funny call yesterday for a collection of archive boxes.

The accountancy firm gave me the collection postcode and i instantly told them the company name.

It was the company who owe us money and went into administration just over a week ago, And these are all of the accounts going to be scrutinised.

Hopefully we can get some cash back but i will be months just to find out.

You should've picked em up, then held them to ransom for £900!!!

The thought did cross my mind, Its a different company that called and not the one in administration.

I just spoke to them and they are the administrators.

If i were you i'd get my foot in the door with the administrators. From my experience (worked for one for over a year) they do like spending money that isn't theirs, and jobs for the boys very much a feature. You may well get some work moving stuff around for them. In my case they used a transport company to empty the warehouse asap b4 the landlord tried seizing goods to recoup some of his debt, as well as to stop other creditors sending the boys round.

Administrators can be worse than printers, they treat each job as a charge against each case, I often got the excuse well theres no money in that case to pay you yet eh?
