I know its January, things look bleak... Having been in the industry for 30 years mid-Jan can be very quiet, it WILL pick up, it always does.

This is a quiet time, so i'm using to do some marketing and see if I can bring in some fresh customers. I've been ticking over slowly doing the odd job here.

Happy new year guys. I'm new to this site, I started with City Sprint back in November and I want to build up my own customer base. Reading on this forum comments about City Sprint, you can guess why. I've been in the courier industry for years, doing multi drop and same day but have never really tried going it alone. Some advice would be good. Do I go to transport companies or look for customers who use couriers for delivery of their own goods? Or both?

Both, I do and get some good jobs out of it aswell
