I'm just starting up and wondering what sort of pricing I should be looking at.
How to price jobs?

bacons couriers
Small van rates are anywhere between 70p-£1.00 per mile A to B And Transits/LWB anywhere between 80p and £1.40 per mile A to B
I am, of course talking Trade rates, that is rates between you and the Courier Company you're touting work from (work on exchange sites) and not rates to your customers.
If you are going in the general direction of the advertised job anyway, then you may feel it possible to lower your rate, equally if you're going back homeward bound empty, you may also feel you want to bid lower...
Some do, some don't.
At the end of the day it's your business, you do what you want, and charge what you feel is right
MK BIKES
I'd go for pounds or Euros
There are many threads relating to this
There is a search facility on this forum to avoid having to ask questions that have already been asked
I think to avoid such repetitiveness, we need sub headings for all the topics that keep cropping up clearly visible
Obviously the "search" heading isn't visible enough otherwise we wouldn't get the same questions time and time again
How about a section called "Are you new to the industry" with sub sections within it
It does get a tad fustrating cos the info is there if you look
Just a thought admin

Hi Dean,
Welcome to mtvan. There have been many topics covering what you've asked as you can probably imagine. Please add to these, here's one. You could try the forum search facility as mentioned above.
Also, please read our forum guidelines. 'Dean' is not a good title for a thread and is not allowed. I will amend it shortly.
