I'm Annoyed.
Seems anyone can sign up for free, is that correct?
And the other week PB Services joined ,with fake address and contact details.
That member then went on to slate and insult other member's .
And that member and other carry'on troll's can access all our details ?
What's going on web admin ?
Why do you not validate more throughly ?

Roughly speaking, data protection means not using your data/personal details without getting your consent first. I don't think you are talking about data protection.

Any courier company or owner driver can sign up to mtvan for free, yes. Anyone not fitting those categories we remove immediately. We provide a feedback system and trusted status to help other members evaluate a company on mtvan more easily before doing business with them. We are actively working on new ways to make this process easier for you. It is simply not viable for us to do a personal visit to every new joiner, we've always made clear that the onus is on you (like just about every other community site out there).

Anyone who appears to be a member of the site purely to 'troll' others will be removed, as happened last week to possibly our first or second ever troll-like member in many years. I don't think we particularly have a problem with abuse on the site.

you should try cx...and you can't join for free on there...a fine line between banter and abuse but this forum is nice and friendly 99% of the time...and yes...self monitering by us soon weeds em out

I think admin is correct there.

We take steps to verify people that call  us for work,

We have had a couple of people call when we have listed a job and just by speaking to them on the phone i know that i wouldn't let them take the dog for a walk , Never mind deliver an important consignment.

That's why the NETWORKING is important,  At the end of the day as the old saying goes "It's not what you know , It's who you know" and trust to do a good job.

As for Two Ticks, He called at our office and presented himself really well , I will call him if i can use his services.
