Try route4me
021 SAMEDAY
Microsoft Autoroute, about £30 or MapPoint 2013 which will allow you to import 100's of postcodes from a spreadsheet and optimise them, about £200. No experience of free software which would be as good or as quick though.
Autoroute the best in my past experience. I've used route4me but only got 5 routes for free then I think it cost about £5 a month after that.

DPD use co-pilot professional, not sure of the cost, it works pretty well, although in some areas it will struggle and give you the runaround, so it's always best to double check once you've routed up

Cheers guys, I am driving some one elses van on an hourly rate, so I'm not going to invest too heavily (in fact I'm not going to invest at all). The run is put in order by an other driver who has done the route before as cover. I am new to the area so just fancied a bit of streamlining until I learn the run and can order it myself. Thanks!

(in fact I'm not going to invest at all). Dont invest and dont do it, simples. Well thats just my opinion. 100 drops a day would send me stupid..quick send for the white van and straight jacket, I thought they abolished slavery in this country.

Thanks for the advice. It's ok. I've got the best run in the country. Rush hour involves being stuck behind a tractor for 5 minutes.I hardly even see an A road. Mostly it's only 60 drops. Started at 8am yesterday, all done by 4pm. I'm paid by the hour so theres no need to get too carried away. Weekends off, paid leave, bank holidays, sick pay, I had forgotten what it feels like.
