Anyone following this or planning to get one? It's likely that the next iPad will be launched tomorrow with a super high density display like the iPhone 4/4S.
Does anyone use one at the moment? Any good on the road?

Another one already, they are great bits of kit i use the HTC flyer tho as it links up easier with my phone and laptop plus the magic pen is handy and I find it a better size to take out and about.

Good point about the 'magic pen'... I assume that's a stylus it comes with?
Do you take POD Sigs with it?

Its a little more than a stylus its quite chunky and is powered by a battery, sole purpose is for writing with, still use yr finger or i have a rubber tipped stylus for it.

Sounds like something for our app one day.
Kexby: If only! I haven't got one or ever had one yet let alone giving them away!
I tried an IPAD2 a few months back and chucked it back after a few days,
the lack of flash player is a major draw back especially on the CX,
I have just started using an electronic POD form through my blackberry which I'm still testing,
quite handy that you can upload your paper POD and then wait and the nice chap to load it for you ready to go but ou also have the option to edit it as you go, nice and easy to use just cut and paste the deals from the job confirmation email get the signiture (flat finger on the screen) complete the printed name, sent done!!
most things you need on the road you can do with a smart phone so not sure I will be getting a new pad.

What does Courier Exchange need flash for?
it needs flash for the interactive GTM map etc,
The map is one of the most usefull things on CX,

Great, thanks for the useful feedback. Do you find it useful for finding couriers, work, or both? What do you like about it?

Why not just use your laptop tethered to your phone? I have an Asus laptop and a Motorola Atrix. iPhones and iPads have never interested me.
I use a blackberry things for most things pricing emails etc,
but if I have to book a courier in resonse to a GTM or book a parcel collection them I use an advent netbook, I find the internal sim slot is good in that there is 1 thing less to go wrong if you are trying to use a dongle, also I have found '3' is excellent for speed and connection I have been with Vodaphone for years but their band speed has been very poor of late, went to'3' on a payg sim just to see if there any difference and it works out cheaper and no contract,
The blackberry is just one of the best tools ever as you can price jobs in seconds,
and the 'google latitude' thing is great, saves all those when you going to be home? calls!!
