Hi, is there much work in the north east on this site? I know it's not expensive but as I'm just starting out can I justify paying the £75 for 6 months only to see 1-10 mile car jobs advertised that are 15 miles away, is there much distance work for vans on here?
North east value.

Another good reason why retail sameday jobs have no place on this site, Admin!
It's putting subbies off from buying memberships.
Thankyou thankyou thankyou
There are many of us who are fed up to the backteeth of seeing this newly named "retail Sameday" type of work clogging up the site and now we see someone who is potentially thinking of joining, but is being put off by all the 1-10 mile jobs instead of what most of us are here for, namely proper sameday courier work.
Quality v quantity
The quality is getting lost.
Can you see the wood for the trees?

Why does it bother you so much? If like me those jobs don't interest you then just get on with whatever does interest you, also there isn't actually a flood of Sameday jobs posted on here anyway. You Tony and a few other nodding dogs need to just get on with your lives and businesses instead of nitpicking at every post or comment that is made on here. The original post asks is it worth £75 for 6 months to join? Well if somebody has to worry about speculating £12.50 a month financially they must be in a sorry state.
These are my opinions and my opinions only, I'm sure.

I'm not "worried" about spending £12.50 a month, the original question was is there enough longer runs for LWB transits in the north east to justify joining, whether it be £100/month or free, if there's not enough work on here then it's not worth signing up surely. I agree that if you don't like the work for cars doing short distances then you should simply change the options that get delivered to your device however just to come on here and moan about other people having differing opinions than yours is a bit off. You're clearly just having a bad day!
I think the answer lies in your own business plan! You know what you want to earn so you make your own mind up :)

See your back talking bollox as per usual, welcome back.
I wondered how long it would take you... lol

Just had a newcastle to mansfield covered today on here :-)
In my honest opinion the 12.50 per week is only justified by the amount of abuse you are prepaired to put up with as a "new member " or even the thought of that elusive work that seems to be eminating from the "retail sector " the 1 - 10 mile jobs are worth arround £5.00 per job, if you can complete arround 20 -25 jobs per day then may be it, s for you As a peice of advice : exclude around 90% of the b. S that you see on sites and do a little research around your area, look at other sites also as there is more out there if you look in the right area, the courier exchange charge around £585>00 plus vat for 12 months, Shiply is free to join but ther is no requirement mr man and van to prove that the correct insurances are in place, buyer beware!
