I v'e been asked to quote for an ongoing 7.4 ton run and need a little help.
I understand all about the o licence but was wondering if you are office based and do not have a yard for keeping the vehicle how does this work , I can store the vehicle at the company premises as they have an o licence and i have a garage to do regular servicing.
Would i still be able to do general haulage for my own other customers.
Thanks for any help you may provide,
Simon

That was 7.5 ton (It's early in the day for me)
Hello Simon
If you have an operator's licence you have to nominate an operating centre. If your customer is happy for you to use their yard that's fine, but make sure they know that you are going to use their address in your o licence application.

Paul

hi as above you must put a location for your truck to be stored also a transport manager(cpc holder) should help you sort all this out for you .and explain everything i act as a part time transport manager for a removal company.
