I carry hard hat and work boots, and have a first aid kit and two fire extinguishers fitted in the van. As for hi viz, I always wear a hi viz polo shirt, sweatshirt or jacket (because those vests are a bleedin' nightmare and it always seems to be windy when I put one on!)

Come on, that sign has got to be a wind up!

Didn't notice the bit at the bottom when I posted that :)

I get regular pick ups from Walkers Snacks in Warrington and have to wear Toetector shoes on site. A bag of crisps dropping on your foot could be pretty painful I suppose,,,,

Try making a delivery to the refinery at Killingholme - you HAVE to sit through a 40 minute induction video at least once every 3 months.

Farming still the most dangerous industry
Wednesday 30 October 2013 09:30
Taken as a whole, there are 78.5 injuries per 100,000 employees in the workplace but farming alone has 239.4 major injuries per 100,000.
That’s more than construction, which has 156.0 major injuries per 100,000 employees, making farming one of the most dangerous professions.
The agricultural sector is also the riskiest for fatal injury. In 2012/13, 29 people in farming died, this accounts for one in five of all fatal injuries to all workers.

Too right, you may recall me calling you earlier this year when I was outside, I think Lafarge? They wouln't let me through the gate without steel toe caps. You sent me a guy down and I borrowed his boots to walk through the gate and deliver my parcel. Madness, but you were a Godsend.

I delivered an "emergency windscreen" to virgin Atlantic at Gatwick recently but wasnt allowed to deliver without my passport. I didn't have that with me so told them i would take it back... Woahhhhhh we need it urgently they argued.
I didn't have my passport i explained... Surprising what common-sense and more importantly someone who holds the aces can do
