Admin: would it not be a good incentive to give instant 200 points to New mbrs on the day if they uploaded their GIT and H+R on the day they joined, so they could quote for work and the vendor in return could check said new mbr for the right documentation in place. Of course if they are not showing then thats a different matter and will have to build there reputation the same as the rest of us.. Just a thought
Yeah, I've always been baffled by this. Anyone over 200 can see my name, address and telephone number but I can't see theirs. Even though I know them.

Good idea, the guys doing it right must be encouraged. 200 points for uploading proper insurance docs would make sense.

My impression was that this encourages new members to be active on the forums, which gets you points. And we all know what points mean... Well, not prizes as such, but contact details.
There is however, an easy way around as most vendors use their company name so it doesn't take long on Google. Alternatively I believe you can send PMs with less than 200 points.
Andy your insurance idea is very good too, this would be a beneficial modification. And another incentive to upload insurance docs. I may be guilty of not uploading my GIT actually but as an android user, nothing is easy on mtvan :(
Jamie Goodland
Sorry Gary, I see the points for insurance was your idea!
Power to the Android people.
