Just recently signed up for a personal cover that gets me roadside/home/accident/recovery. Cost was just £104 which i purchased through quidco and gives me a cashback of £45 .

RAC have also sent me a preloaded debit card worth an additional £50 over the next 12 months(as part of their current promotion)

Net cost of membership = £9 for a full years cover

Have you read the small print? There must be a catch, if it seems to good to be true...

More than likely it will not cover for commercial use.

No such thing as a free lunch ;)

Well i'm not sure about lorries but i've been swapping between AA and RAC for years now depending on best deals.

Whenever i've had an issue the recovery guy and operator has never questioned what my usage is or why my van is covered.

Maybe just a good deal for OD rather than a multi-firm policy. I can guarantee that i have net payment of just £9 but as the offers have changed slightly it is a case of me being in the right place at the right time... Unlike when i was in carmarthen on wednesday... Definitely the wrong place at any time!

At the end of the day its a great idea to sign up with quidco and get cashback on most purchases you make(see list on site). As an example you will get 7% cashback every time you shop at AMazon as well as money back on all insurances. It costs nothing to join and new deals are added daily... Just keep your eye out for heavy discounts from the motoring firms especially just after winter

Why not sign up [http://www.quidco.com/user/65022/576862]

I have no doubt you got it for £9 I meant have you read the recovery terms? You may find they will tow you off the motorway to a lay by and that's it, this is usually the service you get free with your insurance. You then will have to pay them to get it any where else. Just pointing out you need to read all the small print now finding out what the catch is at the side of the road will be too late.
