Don't mean this to sound overly critical because it's a decent-looking website with a few interesting things in the pipeline, but doesn't £45 for a month's usage of mtvan seem a bit extreme?

I have been a member for a little while and I bid on a few jobs without any luck while I had trial pro membership, but I rarely see jobs of interest on here and I'm amazed that new customers are/would be willing to pay £45 when they can get CX for a similar amount?

Or am I missing something here?

A Calculator for one... Where did you get that cost from?

Au contraire my friend, if you click Account > Pro Membership it comes up with a one month trial price of £45...

And if you look again, you'll see you can get the same for a mere £10 a month

It seems that there are 2 doors to membership I. You pay just £10 for one months membership 2. You pay just£45 for one months membership

MMMMM how many people have been caught out by entering the wrong door?

Don't think it's anything to do with being caught out entering doors.

Simple enough, it's bulk buying.

  • One month at a time you pay £45 per month
  • Six months at a time you pay £12.50 per month
  • Fifteen months at a time you pay £10 per month

I think the jump may be a bit extreme, but I guess it covers joining for a month and writing down all the contacts/content you want and not paying again.

No Scott, there is a page that clearly states just £10 per month

Congratulations on the astute mathematics, Speed, but I'm not talking about paying £150 on the off-chance you might get the odd job or two on here.

My point was that £45 seems a tad high for anyone wanting to test the water. Surely it's not a great price level to be competing with Courier Exchange?

Ok , well if you sign out and then click" sign up and fees" located on the top on the home page you will see the £10 offer. or as stated DOOR 1 IF you sign up while you are a member you will pay £45 DOOR 2

Well WSD unlike the other site you can actually join for free (something i think you can testify) and test the water that way

Thats the beauty of the trial Pro membership. I picked up a few jobs on here during the trial, some through discussion on the forums, so for me £150 for 15 months was a no brainer. Starting to become known by other companies etc, the information contained within the old forums and new are worth the fee alone and at £10 a month won't break the bank. Just means one less stop at a McDonalds or Costa's which helps the waistline too.

OMG DDR... Brill ad for mtvan

Thanks Mr G, so it's more of a new members promotion kind of thing.

That makes a lot more sense because there's no way I'd pay £45 as there just isn't enough work compared with CX.

Those ODs who can bid low and put the effort in to pick up work right from the start for just a tenner must be loving it. I think my problem is it has always just been something I have a glance at every now and then.

I heard all the good and crap of a few sites but does Courier Exchange offer value for ya buck. I have not used Courier Exchange but would be interested to know if it pays or is it just good for better backloads.

Please read and/or post about Courier Exchange here. Some useful information there already. Maybe we can get some fresh opinions.

That just states £10 per month, you would have to buy the 15 months package to get it for that price, as per my previous post. I do think that the site admin should perhaps include the word 'from' as this could be classed as misleading.

Therefore, for WS Distribution to test the waters for another one month he will pay £45 per month unless he signs up for 15 months to get that deal. Simples

If he can't afford £150 for 15 months despite having access for FREE to the forums and the wisdom and knowledge you can get from them, then he's perhaps chosen the wrong place to be

I will say however, for £100 I will personally have a 1 2 1 with you and answer anything and everything you need to know about this industry

We will meet at the Red Lion

If you wanna invite a friend or 2 then i will charge accordingly, as long as you pay for my cab home
