Just out of interest how many others have had the same calls as us.

We get calls from people asking us to collect from a residential address and deliver direct to another residential address usually in south London they want to pay cash on delivery and don't have a landline contact number at either end.

We even had someone call us in nottingham to collect some wheels and tyres from reading to take them to kidderminster, I told them we are miles from reading and he would save money and time getting  a courier in reading to cover the delivery.
He said money to him isn't a problem and he liked the sound of us but he has to pay with a credit card.

We decline all jobs that sound like these, They just don't sound right.

I suppose i could have directed them to a courier in collumpton.

be careful with anyone using a creditcard which has a diff billing address to the delivery address as eventhough the card may well go thru.....they can  decline it up to 2 months later....you have been warned

I took a call last year sometime from a bloke that wanted me to collect in Hammersmith, West London and deliver to Milton Keynes. When I told him I was based in Plymouth he said that wasn't a problem and he was willing to pay my dead mileage all the way to Hammersmith. I said it was a problem for my because my tea was ready and put the 'phone down.
