Asda have thermal socks (suitable to wear with or without steel toecap boots) at just 3 pairs for £6.
With the onset of winter this sounds a particularly good buy.

Superb!! Have worn them for the last 2 cold days and my feet have been like hot buttered toast.
Sounds good, could do with them right now.
I have to say, anyone that says their feet feel like hot buttered toast has clearly either not tasted hot buttered toast, or have been without for so long that they think by saying their feet taste like buttered toast...we're all going to feel sorry for them and give them work....those thoughts are sadly misplaced
I know what hot buttered toast tastes like...and feet isn;t where it'd at
Cheese on toast ?!?! lol
The heater in my van keeps my feet warm enough! Always makes me laugh when I see people driving around with a big coat, scarf and gloves on. The heat is free in your vehicle as it's a bi-product of running the engine!
one of mine is still wearing shorts ffs
Luke warm and soggy.
