There are 29 million people of working age in the uk of which:-
4 million are self employed (thats you and me that is)
7 million are in part time work (thats increasingly becoming us too...lol)
6 million in the public sector
2.7 million unemployed (hmmm...maybe we’re in here ?)
1.8 million of working age claiming disability allowance
And there are 476,000 job vacancies in the UK!!!
The average household wage is 26K...take out the top 10% who earn shedloads and that figure comes down to just over 12k (per household remember)
