Van Insurance

Its that dreaded time of year again, whats average price people are paying for van insurance and who are they with?

One Of Our Drivers just took out a policy £1400 with Gladiator Insurance.

I renewed just last month with Devitt Commercial and I am very, very pleased!

Just rung devitt and they said they dont do van insurance for goods for hire and reward they only insure vans for people that deliver their own goods?

Insurecourier is a good one, saved me a lot of money and you can get git and pl all in. No messing around looking for quoted for the git and pl

My insurances all expire on the 30th November and although I will be looking at prices to renew I doubt that it will be worth while so might say bye bye to doing the job I enjoy to concentrate on the one I tolerate. Subsidising the vans for a year has got a wee bit tedious!

Just renewed mine with Bollington. £1220 inc 12 months AA breakdown cover. 09 Berlingo.

We insured with Bollington for 13 plate Sprinter xlwb £2800. Two weeks ago got letter pointing out that since I have now got 6 points for speeding they where cancelling cover. I replied pointing out that I didnot drive that van, no bother they said youre are a partnership therefore you both need to be covered. Surprise Surprise they came back later we have new quote £4700.

That's strange they told us on numerous occasions that they don't insure couriers (We were with Co-Op insurance who stopped doing policies and passed us on to Bollington)
