I have had to have winter tyres on the four vans we go regularly abroad in, for the last few years. [It's the law] and to be honest the difference is staggering. I came over the snowy A66 earlier this year and in deepish snow had no problems despite other vehicles slithering off the road.
Ought to be mandatory in the UK too

What make & model do you fit Alan?
Mine where Pirelli Snow Control £265 for four
Continental I think cost about £100 each
