Sounds like they're still experiencing problems. Someone mentioned to me that whatever problem they have been having hasn't really been solved yet, just that it's less noticeable when their site isn't so busy.

Frustrating - feel for those who have no coverage with own vehicles etc or those who rely on the site for their work.
Managed to get two jobs covered but it was slow (described as like swimming in treacle!).
Rather disappointing total blank from MTV drivers.

That is disappointing. Do you have any couriers on mtvan who you've worked with before and trust (and are therefore more likely to get back to you with a quote)? If so please trust them and it's pretty much certain that we will send them an SMS alert if they're within alert radius.
You can find and trust them on the new courier directory.
What happened to the idea of posting work and 2.3 million texts going out? If I wanted to spend all morning phoning round I would employ JR Hartley!

We don't send out 2.3 million but we do send out a lot.
If there are so many members near the pickup that we have to be more selective about who we alert, your trusted members will have priority.
Egg and chicken? You need to get driver to call and cover a job for them to be trusted?

No, you can trust whoever you want.
You can only leave feedback if you've worked for or given work to someone.
