I'm new to this. I used to work for DPD and I've started my own on Anyvan for last 30 days.

Is this site worth paying for? I currently use Anyvan on commission basis.

Hi Tawnys

You're very welcome here on mtvan. Do take the time to update your Profile, so people feel it's worth calling you direct from the Directory when they have a job near you. Just go to Dashboard >> > Account (top right hand corner) then work across the tabs. A photo and description and insurance details are especially worth doing.

Then you can watch for a bit, without paying, and see whether you think the mtvan is worth paying for. Lots of people do.

Closer to Anyvan is our sister site Delivery Supermarket. That has less-urgent work. And there's no commission and no fee to join.

If you have an iPhone, please do download our mtvan courier App (just search mtvan in the App Store).

Hope this helps.

Are you depending on these sites for work? It worrying that you have said you have started on Anyvan as these sites are only really there as a bonus maybe to turnover a couple hundred pounds a month. It looks like you dont have a customer basis. Tims advise is very good but its only good if you are already quite busy but looking for a bit more work or return loads

Hello Tawnys

I think you should contuie to use these sites as Tim advises but you really need to put together an action plan this week to get new business in. Exchange site are not the answer.

There's plenty of OD's that make a living off Exchange Sites, but what you WILL find is when it goes quiet, you'll be extra quiet cos they'll look after their own before they look after you.

Most who know what they're doing realise that Jan and Feb are pretty quiet so have made provisions, those that are new to the game will find out pretty quick!
