It works
The best there is at the moment. Obviously depending on what you wish to get from it.

Although its not working for me at this minute sat in Witham
Asap-Direct
It works but needs alternative as well particular Fridays. LAM good could be better if od s updated it as they went. Spoke to a lot of people today only to find they are doing something or not available. Remember if you dont use it we will stop ringing. Its up to you.

The LAM is a great tool if it was used correctly. Having said that the new update coming out should resolve some of the issues.
Andy if i had owt heading North you'd be the 1st to know.. Saw you floating around Braintree a few mins back
It has worked for me over the last 8 months however not much heading out of Newcastle over the last few weeks.
If you're looking to cover other people urgent sameday no messing kinda work, then you can't find much to touch em. Many try but they have the numbers, and that is what keeps them ahead of the rest
A E Delivery
Whats the cost these days? Im with it with the company i work for but they dont have time to seek out returns so its left to myself ( and im useless ) plus they deal with all the paperwork so im quite clueless,
A E Delivery
Scrub that, googled it lists at £47pm which is odd as i thought it was £75?

Thanks for that Rob, I got fed up listening to the doom and gloom traffic reports and started wandering home, fuelled at Braintree, ate at Cambridge and the roads had pretty much cleared. I do try to be on the LAM when I am empty.

This.
Courier Exchange has been my primary source of work for several months. Depending where in the country you are, you could just work off the exchange. Great for making contacts too and the tracker means controllers can see where you are - I've had several calls (and jobs) this way. Plus it's not just a platform for covering overflow/finding loads, it's also an accounting and invoicing package and even lets you add non-Courier Exchange customers and jobs. Hence the price.

Most couriers want you to leave the tracking on when loaded because there is an awful lot of people going off route and co-loading etc which causes them grief. Also do fill in the Courier Exchange POD though I think they should call it Progress Report because it is not a POD. I usually switch from unavailable to available about 15 mins before tipping so folks have time to spot me. When I park up I use a notebook computer to log on to the desktop so I can see all the loads because often something is available along the route and you may not pick it up if you rely on email Alerts.

It's great till you ring bill who wants you to run around leeds to Scotland for penny's his end users are crap or he's money grabbing
Phax
Which Bill? It works for me whilst building a reputation and get the odd call outta the blue. Can only improve over time. £400+ but worth it. I just need to find time/remember to update my whereabouts.

Courier exchange is mega just a few on there that want stuff doing for peanuts but there are some really really good ones the best of the best it's worth every penny :-)
It is a good resource however for the rising cost of it compared to the amount of work i get from it, i'm constantly trying to make it pay.
