Courier tracking app and map

Hi everyone

We have re-written the tracking map, to make best use of the iOS and Android apps:

This is version 1. It's available to all members on the main menu of mtvan.

FYI the list on the left of the tracking map is "most recently logged in at the top".

The list of couriers on the map page shows the last 1000 couriers to log in.

That's the last 1000 of all the couriers who have logged in in the last 6 months.

At the top of this list it says, for example 1000/1490. This means the list is displaying the last 1000 members to log in of the 1490 couriers who have logged in in the last 6 months.

So obviously it pays to keep coming back to mtvan regularly.

On the map page, you can search for couriers by service type.

Use the filter button and select the service type(s) you're looking for. eg Sprinter.

This means that it makes sense to make sure that your profile has the correct service type displayed.

On the map page you can search by name or company name.

Use the search box and search by part or all of the name or company name. Eg "Tim" or "mtvan" will find me.

Obviously it will only find me if I've logged in in the last 6 months.

On the map page, if you click on the list on the left of the map, you'll see more detail on the member you clicked on, including "Address Confirmed" if that's true.

So obviously if you haven't confirmed your postal address on mtvan, it's well worth doing that, as you're more likely to be chosen for a job.

The way it works is simple, just click on "Confirm Address" in Account, and in a few days you'll receive a postcard in the post at your address, on which there's a PIN to enter to confirm that you live or work there.
