Busy Fridays

Just an observation, but for the last few months, Friday's for us have been alot quieter than they used to be.

Friday was always megga busy, right from when we started over 20 years ago.

It was like a Friday for us yesterday, non stop, yet this morning although we all have had, or are doing jobs, the phone and emails are quiet.

Maybe it's just the customer base that we have? or like us, I just wonder if a similar pattern is happening for others.

Yup similar pattern here Its Tuesdays and Thursdays that seem to have taken over from Friday

But then, as we all know, if you're trying to find a pattern in this industry then you'll be sorely disappointed

Saying that as i was reading the post a job was booked in. Spooky or what.

We can't fathom it out either, one week Monday is dead and Friday busy and the next week vice versa.

Tuesday & Wednesday very busy for me did a couple of jobs yesterday only one today, but saying that fully booked for the first three days next week, had to pass some on to my son,

It seems busy here but just looking at our global circuit we are 50% down today on jobs only 345 to cover. Joy...

Well it certainly picked up here, and i hope for everyone else too

Yes it actually picked up somewhat too. Still not like a 'normal' Friday though!

I generally find that the best way to get the phones ringing is to promise the other half a day out shopping...

Its evenly spread for me, some fridays its mental others its quiet, but have noticed this year the 1st and 3rd week of each month is busier than normal compaired to the other weeks. I had a last minute screamer today in which I posted on here but no takers, did mention you want a miracle for what they wanted, so one of their employees did the job to London, didnt want to wait for a courier..

That happens to me when I offer to help make dinner, which believe it or not I do like to help! Also happens when I've got a doctors or dentists appointment.
