Royal Mail Sell Off

I think for us a courier businesses and owner drivers it will be a good thing, Only because they will sooner rather than later increase the prices just like the railway and British gas did. It's only a matter of time before it will be costing £20 + to send a small package through the system.

I personally think it should remain as it it but stop trying to be a big business increasing it's profits year on year but re invest it's profit directly int providing a better and more cost effective service.

I think it should concentrate on letters and leave the rest to those that know how

Yes, and when was last time you had the same Postman, God knows who will be delivering the post when in private hands. Another big pay off for the Management who will end up the owners.

The postman told me they intentionally rotate the postmen (& women) that seems ludicrous to me, that's what people most like about the post.

Well if its anything like my postman its rubbish. Sometimes i have someone from 3 streets away bringing my post to me because they posted it through there door. Differant street name and house number. Some of the posties really need to get to grips with there chosen career
